This morning the already bright morning sun woke us up on the quiet beach of Wangerooge. Relaxed we packed our things and had breakfast in the sun. Fortunately the wind had turned to normal after a turbulent night.
We left for a beautiful trip along the sandplates of Minseneroog. Soon some nice local seakajakkers joined us and guided us through the nice and quiet tidal canal. With a firm wind coming from the south-east our muscles were challenged again ?
After a quick break on a flooding sandplate, we left with new energy for a bumpy and exiting part over rough waves.
It was nice to be accompanied by the experienced kajakkers who told us about the region and the route to take. After the bumpy part, huge waves, the tide and the wind carried us quickly along the sandy shores of the Jade to the Wanger Aussentief. Here our guides left us and we paddled on ourselves again, to the harbour of Hooksiel.
