Rick and Christa are preparing for the Blue Ribbon HBB, a kayak tour of 2400 km along the Swedish Coast.
They both paddle a Danish Struer Frej Kayak, developed by Swedish designer Björn Thomasson. Exciting as it is, Rick and Christa have been dreaming of paddling the Swedish Coast together. They like the challenge and living close to nature.
Having a lot of experience with a double kayak, Christa has now learned many new techniques that come with solo kayaking, from re-entry to rolling. Rick has further developed his kayaking skills, has enjoyed the Wild nature of the Waddensea and is now a rolling instructor.
Summer 2023 they will start their quest from Svinesund towards Haparanda.
